We have just returned after a wonderful stay at Church House. The location is just fabulous and the house just lovely. Walks galore on the doorstep, great for runners too. Visits to the Woolpack Inn and Boot Inn (both walk-able) great and a real treat. The local steam Ratty is great fun too. Didy - can't thank you enough, the house is very special and beautiful. Thank you for a special family time - we will be back! Still much to explore and enjoy!

A proper pub!

Lunchtime driving the A41 - saw a sign for the Carden Arms. Didn't say it was 2 miles - but it was worth it. Sadly only a snack lunch, but a hugely warm welcome, attentive and friendly service and one of the best pork pates I've had in a long time - with real bread and homemade pickles. Driving restricts drinking, but will return to sample the real ales and a wider selection off the menu at another time - but the coffee was good as well. It's the sort of discovery you don't want to find with a restricted timescale which means I will return. A restorative hub of calm and a real local pub.

The perfect holiday villa - 5/5

This is a truly stunning villa to stay in. It is larger than it looks from the pictures. The interior decoration is very high quality, and it feels a very special place to be staying in. The accommodation is very comfortable and has everything that you need for your perfect holiday. The three bathrooms are all a good size as is the kitchen.

We normally have a full-on activity holiday, and this proved to be a great location. It is close to the hiking route which we walked on a few times including to Port Soller which is a fabulous walk. We also went kayaking and coasteering. The best thing about the villa is the pool. It has the most amazing views from it and we couldn't resist spending late afternoons and early evenings there. We found that we could truly relax and unwind which is unusual for us.

I spent a lot of time choosing where we would stay and definitely made the right decision in selecting Deia. It is a beautiful and unspoilt village. The restaurants in the village are wonderful and we had quite a few outstanding meals.

This really is the perfect villa to stay in.

Beautiful villa, ideally located - 5/5

We loved our stay at C'an Llimoner. The villa is beautifully decorated, with large bedrooms and living spaces. The pool is great (it gets quite warm in the afternoon) and the terrace has fantastic views down to the sea. The villa is also in the perfect spot - situated at the end of a lane, there is no through traffic, so peaceful. However, the path to the beach is by the doorstep, whilst the village is only 2 minutes walk away (up a relatively steep hill).

Deia is an amazing village, with a couple of superb supermarkets and numerous restaurants. You really can park up the car and spend a week relaxing, without having to drive anywhere. And the quality of the food in a number of restaurants (Sebastian, Sa Vinya, Nama to name a few) is exceptional.

This really is a fantastic property in a perfect spot. We've stayed in some top quality Italian villas recently but C'an Llimoner beats them hands down. A truly brilliant holiday destination.

First class - 5/5

A lovely, well equipped Spanish style villa tastefully decorated and very nicely furnished. All three bedrooms are en-suite and are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with all mod cons. The villa has the added attraction of its own pool which was clean and had plenty of sun loungers.

The area of Deia is breathtaking. The mountains are amazing, as is the rest of the vista from this beautiful villa.

The village is a 3-minute walk from the from the door and has shops and really nice restaurants.

My party had a very peaceful and relaxing time there, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent contacts with the letting team who bent over backwards to make our stay first class.

Many, many thanks, if only all villa holidays were as professionally run as this one.

Great place to stay, all you need under one roof. Great walks from the doorstep, walked left from the cottage to Boot, passed the two local pubs and then followed the old railway to The Green, stopped at the King George the IV Inn and back by the river. Next day followed the river the other way and called at the Woolpack for a drink on the way back. Great Sunday lunch cooked in the wood stove when we got back!

Beautiful house in the perfect location!

The location is incredible - right by a river with lovely stepping stones, and in walking distance of plenty of great pubs.

The house itself has everything you could possibly need and is renovated beautifully, with cute little homely touches. The conservatory is perfect for big family meals and there's a room full of board games and books in case it rains. The garden is lovely and perfect for dogs.
The hosts are great - a complimentary basket of essentials (Yorkshire tea!) on arrival, and easily contactable if you need anything. We've been a couple of times now, and will definitely be back - it's like a home away from home!

Lunch

FAB. Lovely friendly staff and great atmosphere. Excellent value for money too. A little "off the beaten track" but well worth going out of your way for. We both had the lamb shank which just melted in your mouth, a great selection of veg too. Good wine selection by the glass and not expensive. Definitely one to go on your "bucket list". A lovely private dining room upstairs too.

Warm and welcoming with wonderful food.

Visited on a "works do" with our team on a beautiful day in October and had a really lovely time. The service was attentive without being intrusive and the attention to detail absolutely impeccable. It's a joy to just sit and take in your surroundings - from the smart exterior with quirky signs to the antiques and comfortable furnishings inside. Real log fires, vintage cutlery and plates and some lovely touches for visiting dogs complete the feeling of relaxation. It is truly a place you can imagine staying all afternoon, playing board games and sampling the extensive range of great tipples behind the bar. We were lucky enough to have a sneak peak into one of the beautiful bedrooms as we often have people visiting us and would like to recommend somewhere local that's personal and "home away from home". Once again the finishing touches were exquisite with antiques and modern fittings used beautifully side by side to create a truly unique atmosphere. Food was great too! We will definitely be back.
